AERIS carries out applied work using unmanned aircraft systems and provides UAS for rent for projects where purchasing your own complex is not required or is not economically feasible.
The format is determined by the customer's task. AERIS can undertake the preparation and execution of the entire airborne part of the project or provide suitable equipment for an agreed period of operation.
Aerial operations by AERIS
In this format, the customer determines the required result, the territory or object of work, the composition of the necessary data and the conditions for completing the task. AERIS forms the flight configuration, prepares the equipment and performs the agreed amount of work.
Depending on the project, the service may include:
- selection of the type of UAS for the conditions of the task;
- payload selection and configuration;
- preparation of routes and work areas;
- checking the technical configuration before departure;
- flight operations;
- payload data logging;
- control of the completeness of collected materials;
- transfer of results in an agreed format.
What tasks can you perform?
The specific scope of work depends on the available platform, installed equipment and project requirements.
Main areas of application:
- aerial photography of territories;
- mapping and sightseeing flights;
- monitoring of land and natural objects;
- survey of industrial and civil infrastructure;
- inspection of extended objects and territories;
- thermal imaging;
- collection of specialized sensor data;
- research and test flights;
- repeated flights to observe changes over time.
Flight configuration selection
For each mission, a combination of platform, payload and operating mode is determined. The dimensions of the working area, the required flight duration, the nature of the object, the altitude of the work, the composition of the data and the features of the site are taken into account.
When choosing a configuration, the following are considered:
- type and area of the surveyed territory;
- required spatial and temporal resolution of data;
- payload characteristics;
- duration and number of flights;
- launch and landing conditions;
- route repeatability requirements;
- volume and format of final materials.
Payload
The composition of the equipment is determined by the content of the task. Depending on the available configuration, optical cameras, thermal imaging systems, mapping sensors, specialized measurement modules and other compatible equipment may be used.
During preparation, the field of view, required resolution, work height, weight of equipment, volume of generated data and conditions for their subsequent processing are taken into account.
Repeatable missions
Comparability of data between several flights is especially important for monitoring. In such projects, the work area, route, survey parameters and payload configuration are recorded.
This allows repeated surveys to be carried out under consistent conditions and to track changes in an object or area over time.
Result of aerial work
The composition of the transferred materials is determined before the project is completed. The customer can receive raw payload data, selected materials, flight telemetry or a prepared set of information for further processing.
If the project requires specialized analytics, the format of the result and the amount of subsequent processing are agreed upon separately.
UAS rental
AERIS provides unmanned systems for rent for temporary projects, tests, demonstrations and other agreed upon scenarios.
The composition of the rental complex is determined by the selected platform and may include:
- aircraft;
- payload;
- ground equipment;
- batteries and chargers;
- necessary software components;
- transportation equipment;
- operational documentation;
- agreed set of spare parts.
Rental formats
Rental terms depend on the complexity of the equipment, project duration and operational requirements.
Projects with technical support from AERIS, preparation of the complex before transfer and participation of company specialists in certain stages of operation are possible.
For specialized platforms, personnel requirements, equipment composition and acceptable operating modes are determined individually.
When is renting justified?
Temporary use of UAS is suitable for one-time and periodic projects, pre-purchase technology testing, pilot work, seasonal tasks and equipment testing.
This format allows you to evaluate the selected class of system in your own operating scenario and obtain practical data for a subsequent decision on the purchase or formation of a permanent complex.
Project preparation
Before performing work, the object, territory, required result, timing, site availability and technical data requirements are recorded.
After this, AERIS determines the appropriate configuration and forms the composition of the project:
- platform;
- payload;
- number and duration of flights;
- composition of ground equipment;
- requirements for initial and final data;
- the order of transfer of results;
- required level of technical support.
Work restrictions
The feasibility of a particular mission depends on the characteristics of the selected UAS, weather conditions, terrain features, accessibility of launch and landing sites, and aircraft operating requirements.
These parameters are assessed before the final configuration and work program are agreed upon.
AERIS operation
An applied flight is considered as a sequence of related stages: setting a problem, choosing a platform and sensor equipment, preparing a configuration, executing a flight, monitoring the received materials and transferring the result.
The customer can transfer the entire air phase of the project to AERIS or use the leased complex within the framework of a pre-agreed operational configuration.
